SEMA Spring Expo to Showcase Latest Products
Trade show brings automotive specialty equipment to the Midwest
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (February 9, 2006) – SEMA Spring Expo will host more than 130 exhibiting manufacturers, showcasing the hottest brands and newest products, March 24-25, at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. Sponsored by SEMA’s Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) and Professional Restylers Organization (PRO), first-time exhibitors and other leading manufacturers will bring innovative concepts to the truck and auto specialty equipment market, such as restyling accessories, intake and exhaust systems, suspension components, mobile electronics, performance parts, wheels, tires and more.
“SEMA Spring Expo is part of an overall cultural shift in American attitudes toward personalizing vehicles,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of marketing and communications. “People see trucks and autos as more than simple work vehicles and family haulers – they’re extensions of one’s personality and are customized to suit particular lifestyles.”
Retailers capitalizing on this growing market will have two full days to see the industry’s latest products and speak directly with the manufacturers creating them. In addition, the specialty equipment industry’s leading business experts will host on-site educational seminars and roundtable discussions over a four-day period, providing retailers with keen insights into today’s business environment and tools for developing effective marketing plans.
“For those who were unable to attend the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, SEMA Spring Expo is a great opportunity to see the hottest products and explore cross-marketing opportunities at the co-located SEMA Offroad event,” said MacGillivray.
